DELICIOUS AVOCADO, COCONUT & SWEET POTATO BROWNIES

No Wheat, No Sugar, No Dairy! Delicious

For those of you who are unfortunately suffering from an auto immune disorder like cancer, autism, arthritis, dementia, or any other condition that is a sign of a weak immune system, help is at hand. As we plan to bring you more tasty recipes that boost to the immune system.

We love deserts as well as mains, so let’s skip straight to the desert!

This recipe is minus the nasties and full of yum. If you are a dessert lover, you know that finding a healthy and delicious one, which would be low in calories, is not an easy task.

Store bought brownies are high in inflammatory ingredients such as flour, processed sugar and pasteurized hormone filled dairy. These may well fulfil the short term strong desire for that overly sweet taste sensation message sent from your gut bacteria, but what happens once it is past the tongue is that it has the opposite effect on your body longer term. These processed sugar laden foods raise blood sugar and cortisol (stress hormone) levels, creating longer term mood issues and hormonal imbalance.

Whereas these brownies are full of nutrition as well as flavour. They are rich in antioxidants, fiber, and healthy fats. This is due to the remarkable properties of the main ingredient avocado.

Avocado – These fruits are one of the most nutrient-dense foods on the planet, as they are rich sources of essential amino acids, fatty acids, and antioxidant phytonutrients. They can help fight disease & cancer, as well as (in stark contrast) balance the hormones that are so effected by processed foods.

Moreover, avocados are abundant in oleic acid, which is a monounsaturated fat that increases fat metabolism, the carotenoid antioxidants lutein and zeaxanthin, and Vitamin E (tocopherol). These antioxidants reduce oxidative stress and support the health of the cellular environment.

Avocadoes are also high in ionic potassium and folate, which alkalize the body and help the elimination of acidic wastes from the body.

Here is how to prepare grain-and-sugar-free avocado brownies.

  • 2 tablespoons raw local honey
  • 1/4 cup organic coconut milk
  • 3 tablespoons 100% organic cacao powder

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325° F, and line a regular size loaf pan with parchment paper, or grease it with coconut oil.

Then blend all other ingredients in a blender.

Use a spoon to level the batter across the pan evenly, as it will be sticky and thick.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Easy as that. Share it with all the family. As well as sharing this article of course!
