Almonds are nearly famous for their nourishing benefits to the skin and almond oil is often favored for use in massage, but did you know that combing it with honey can clear your complexion, smooth and moisturize your skin and help exfoliate gently, reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and crows feet?! Here’s a simple scrub recipe you can throw together for a fabulous complexion . . .
1/2 c. Cold cream or plain yogurt
1 T. Honey
1 T. finely ground almonds
Grind the almonds in your blender, Mix in the honey and cold cream (or yogurt) until well blended.
Apply as a mask to face and neck for 2-3 minutes, rinse and enjoy the glow. Store any remaining in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
